July - october

The quieter, more intimate alternative to the river crossings of the Great Migration — be witness to the birth of thousands of wildebeest babies across the southern Serengeti plains each day between January and March. Predator activity is extraordinary. This itinerary is built around one of the world’s least-marketed wildlife events. Visit Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Ndutu (the southern plains of the Serengeti,) and Lake Eyasi.
